High-Speed 3D-DIC for Strain Measurement & Modal Analysis of Wind Turbine Blades under Rotating Conditions

This experiment uses Revealer high-speed 3D-DIC (Digital Image Correlation) technology to measure the displacement field, radial strain field, and vibration modes of a wind turbine blade under realistic operating conditions: 750 rpm rotational speed and 13 m/s wind speed. The approach overcomes the limitations of traditional measurement methods in rotating test scenarios, enabling simultaneous, non-contact, full-field acquisition of displacement, strain, and modal parameters. These reliable experimental data support structural design validation and dynamic characterization of wind turbine blades.
