Revealer Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) Instruments Debut at the National Academic Conference on Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases

Recently, the 19th National Academic Conference on Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases concluded successfully in Hefei. Conference Highlights


With the in-depth advancement of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases and local "14th Five-Year" plans for occupational disease prevention and control, real-time and precise monitoring of occupational hazard factors such as workplace dust and toxic gases has become the key to occupational disease prevention and control. Traditional monitoring methods have limitations in terms of precision, efficiency, and visualization. The self-developed Revealer PIV measurement instruments by HF Agile Device Co.,Ltd., based on particle image velocimetry technology, achieve visualized measurement of parameters such as dust velocity, concentration, and vorticity through non-contact, high-frame-rate image acquisition and flow field analysis. These instruments provide data support for high-risk industries such as mining, chemical engineering, and metallurgy, helping enterprises fulfill their responsibilities for occupational disease prevention and control.

In the optimization of mine roadway ventilation, PIV instruments were used to accurately capture the movement paths of dust and air flow, providing a visualized basis for ventilation design; in the testing of fresh air systems, PIV instruments could identify the flow field structure of air return outlets to avoid pollutant diffusion; in the aerosol spray dust removal experiment, PIV technology could optimize droplet size and spray density to improve dust removal efficiency. These cases fully demonstrate the practical value of PIV technology in the source prevention and control of occupational diseases and engineering optimization.
